A good consumption of fiber helps us lose weight

Fiber helps us maintain our ideal weight.  Thanks to its volume, we feel full and avoid hunger for a longer period of time.  Additionally, insoluble fibers store various components, reducing absorption and accelerating passage through the intestine.

Fiber has the capacity to retain water, which facilitates fecal boll movement.

Soluble fibers slow the emptying of the stomach, leaving a feeling of satiety.

In general, diets rich in fiber increase the volume of feces, constituted 75% of water, 10% bacteria and 10% fiber.

Because of its importance for the digestive system, it is recommended to consume 30-35 grams of fiber a day, preferably 50% of which from whole grains and the other 50% from fruits and vegetables.
